My history of programming started with a book that I don't remember the title of. It started an explanation of computers from the idea of a transistor; in fact, it started from a simple switch. I didn't even have a computer at that time. The only opportunity was my friend's Atari on the 4th floor of a multi-storey apartment building in Kraków, where I could impress him with my basic BASIC skills.
Today I have over 17 years of professional software engineering at various companies, more outside the industry predating my first programming job at Motorola. I always liked writing, even if it's harder for me in English as this is my second language.
